Intake
How a project runs
Four steps, the same in every engagement. You know up front what happens, what it costs and when you get to see something.

Intake
A half hour conversation about the goal, the users and the deadline. Free of charge and without obligation.

Proposal
Within a few business days you get scope, schedule and a fixed amount in writing. What is not in it, is not in it.
- 03
Build in short rounds
You see a working version every week. Adjustments stay cheap and you always know where we stand.
- 04
Delivery and handover
Tested, launched and documented. You receive the code, the accounts and an explanation. Maintenance afterwards is optional.
What you get
No subscription you cannot leave and no black box. This holds regardless of the project.
- You own the code. The repository, documentation and accounts are handed over.
- A fixed quote after the intake. Extra work only proceeds once you approve it.
- One point of contact. You talk to the person building it, not to a layer in between.
- A working delivery: tested, documented and live, not a prototype.
- Maintenance is optional. Nothing locks you in and anyone can take over.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work alone or with a team?
I build it myself, from first conversation to delivery. There is no layer in between and you always know who you are talking to. For larger engagements I scale up in consultation with you.
Do you work with clients outside the Netherlands?
Yes. I work remotely in English, in the CET time zone, and deliver the same way as for Dutch clients. Invoicing is in euros.
How long does a project take?
A website is usually two to four weeks. An application is six to twelve weeks depending on scope. After the intake you get a concrete schedule with delivery dates.
How does pricing work?
Every service has two starting prices. Those are a floor, not a final amount. After the intake you receive a fixed quote, so you know where you stand before anything is built.
Can you take over my existing WordPress site?
Yes. Taking it over, cleaning it up, making it faster, securing it and maintaining it are all possible, including sites I did not build.
Who owns the code after delivery?
You do, as soon as the final invoice is paid. You receive the repository, the documentation and every account. There is no licence and no dependency on me.
Do you handle design as well?
Yes. I design directly in the browser and deliver a working design instead of pictures. If you already have a designer or brand guide, I build on that.
